This does not come with a dowel rod and good luck finding one that will work with it. Most dowel rods at the hardware store come in 48" lengths and none come in the width required for this paper cutter. I have to get a copper pipe, find a way to cut it and fill it with wood dowel pieces to make sure it did not bend under the weight of the paper roll. The seller should jot show it with the dowel if they do not intent to provide one. Its false advertising.
