I just purchased this costume & if you're wondering whether it's worth the buck, let me tell you what you'd be purchasing & hopefully you'll be able to determine whether this costume is for you!The face mask part of Frank is actually the exact same looking as the picture here, the only difference is the ears. Within the ears there's some sort of plastic that is rolled into a tube & it keeps the ears up. It isn't made with wire in the ear, so you can't really bend the ear's shape. More about the face mask... it isn't plastic, it's rubber material. Right above the white part of Frank's eyes there's slits to see through, but it's kind of tough to look through from within. Also there's like two intersecting bands within the face mask to secure it to your head (which I didn't notice when I first put it on, so the mask was just like moving around everywhere on my head & I couldn't see or breathe well!). I've done mascot costume things for my city & spent several hours being in the mascots & when I say it's kind of hard to breathe in this mask , I mean it! Even after about one minute I was having trouble catching a good breath. It gets sticky from your breath just like any other rubber mask. There are two holes for the nose & a hole behind the teeth. The costume part fits adults. I'm a 5'5 female with a medium & fit kind of frame, & it's long at the legs for me, but the rest overall is not too big, like it's not tight, but not too too baggy. Though I wouldn't recommend someone much shorter than me getting it, especially if you're of small frame. The hands are attached to the costume, I found them a good fit for my small lady hands, fairly loose, but comfortable. There is a little hole in each hand, I'm assuming it's so you can stick one finger through each glove out to do up your own back, but it's great if you just get someone else to do it up for you instead. The back is unfortunately done up with velcro, & not even the whole thing is velcro, just sections like as if it were buttons. You could probably sew on buttons to this costume if you'd prefer that way it reduces the likelihood of the back opening up. The colour of the "grey" fur is totally not what I was expecting, but after two seconds, I accepted it & didn't care because it still passed as Frank. It's basically a black fur with some white fur strands weaved in with it. I think that the price is kind of high for the quality that you're getting, but the "coolness" of the costume, to me, was worth it. I'm satisfied with this purchase!I read many reviews before ordering this and I had already accepted the fact that this will likely be a flimsy cheapo mask that I might have to modify..once you lower your expectations the costume is actually acceptable..FIRST (has nothing to do with the manufacturer) the package came to my house SMASHED! Thanks a f***ing lot UPS!THE MASKIt looks nothing like the advertised photo. The actual mask is a thin latex mold that isn't even thick enough to hold a rounded shape (the human face is not flat, but the mask is). It kinda wraps, but it still looks pretty flat if you're not looking at it head on. The texture is kinda convincing. I'll take it...Many said that the ears won't stand up and had to stuff them or had to do some DIY work for this. The actual mask had an elastic webbing inside that held the base of the ears against your skull, thus having a pretty stable pair of standing ears. The manufacturers must've kinda listened and stuffed the ears with what feels like cardboard tubing. It works. Just be careful not to crush the ears or you're screwed.. the bottom of the ears are sealed so you can't get into them.THE SUITI'm 5'10" 175LBS and wear a 34 waist 34 inseam. The suit fur is not grey like the picture. It's actually black with long white hairs. AND IT SHEDS LIKE CRAZY!! It's very roomy, but the crotch is bordering on being too uncomfortably high (gotta shift the kids to one side). The legs and arms are plenty long. No complaints in that department. The suit is fastened in the back by tabs of velcro. I'm going to have a tailor put a zipper on it with a long pullcord (like wetsuits have).THE GLOVESThey are sewn into the sleeves so if you have to answer your iPhone you have to pull of the entire sleeve. Now the fingers on the glove..hmm.. I think they made it for little people with short stubby fingers (no offense intended to little people). Just look at my photos.. they feel weird.. *shrug* they work I guess. Like I said I had already lowered my expectations.OVERALLI can't complain. I can wear it with next to no physical discomfort (other than it keeps you toasty & warm).. Hell, I might even snowboard it it! I'll definitely need the zipper put on it first though. It doesn't look like the posted photo at all.. they need to just post what it actually looks like because not everyone will be as forgiving as me. I wasn't too demanding with movie accuracy, I just want to scare the Hell outta people.I am pleased with it.Lets start by saying I wore this for halloween at work last October, and it went down really well. I loved, others loved it, and it is a really good costume. However, there are a few basic issues with this costume that I am surprised haven't been accounted for.It is, like a lot of the reviews say, and one would expect, rather hot in this costume. However, I would not want to wear it without much on underneath - the Velcro bits at the back make the costume too prone to "malfunction". Fortunately, I had accounted for this by putting a zip on the lower half of the closing bit of the costume. However, it is difficult to do up this zip, and even perform basic tasks in the costume (such as holding a bottle) as the gloves are another trouble point. Not only are they rather slippy, rather tight (on some fingers), and long-fingered (on some fingers), they are also completely attached to the rest of the costume - you can't wear the costume and not the gloves. There is a seam close enough to the wrist that can be cut to allow the hands some freedom. A couple of poppers, Velcro or something could be put here to allow the costume to be seen in all it's glory. The body of the costume might look like it will have plenty of room for someone with a tall upper body, but it doesn't. on several occasions, I was worried I was going to tear the costume. Finally, the mask is held in the perfect place by two crossing elastic straps - it's not possible to put this on whilst wearing the gloves, and when you manage it, you are very likely to break it when you remove it from your head, as there is almost no discernible way of removing it whist in the costume. It's a fantastic costume, and were it not for these issues, it would be well worth the price tag. I intend on fixing most of the issues above on mine, and wearing it again this Halloween.Small notes: don't expect the ears to look exactly like they do in the movie, or like they do in the image. They are fairly straight, and held up with fairly sturdy rubber tubes, and are sealed. This is a terrible costume. the mask looks cheap and the fur easily comes off. Avoid at all cost. For this quality it shouldn't really cost more than £25.For the price of the item, it was of very poor quality. The mask looks nothing like the picture, the ears are just rubber tubes and the material is cheap. The costume is more of a black colour and the white front is smaller than the picture so it just looks like a heart.der Anzug is geil aber bei mir war die Maske beschädigt und das Sichtfeld nicht so gut daher nur 2 Sterne wen die Maske ansich ok währe ohne Schäden 4 sterneMask is not same as picture. The suit is good though.
