I had the same model from another online store this item eats everything with ease the one I had before died after three years this model is heavy but sturdyDrawbacks sometimes it doesn't work all the time you have to pick up the top and put it back down for it to workHad this same model that lasted for 9 years. So when my assistant didn't empty the basket and the shredder jammed with paper and the gears were destroyed when it kept running with the shredder head not turning, I replaced it with the same model. What I liked about this model is that it was relatively quiet, efficient and I could open up the shredder head to clear really bad jams and to oil. What I didn't like is that you pretty much have to empty the basket when paper level is about half-way up the window area. I thought there was a jam proof mode, but don't think so. And it is a little heavy, but has a handle to lift off the top. For the money, you can't expect all the bells and whistles.Like the volume it holds. Don't overuse the large quality of aheetsVery light weight Shredder and productive. So far I am satisfied with my purchase. The price was a little expensive, I think it will be worth the cost.I had to buy this Shredder again my last one lasted 5 years, I had bought it on another company, and twice as expensive with no warranty, took me for ever to find it( 2 weeks looking in amazon but once i found it I had to get it) and I am happy as a pig in mudI always buy his brand because it last. Bucket is a little bigger than others. I like that is cross shreds.Pro-Well constructed with excellent operational capabilities. Processes twelve sheets of paper quite easily. Easy to empty shredder container. Con-Cross shredding is good but not of the highest security level. Also beware -machine does not take staples or paper clips.
