Description
Water Contact Indicator Tape- 3M 5557, is a 10.2 mil industrial grade tape product used to indicate water contact. This product rapidly changes from white to red when it is physically contacted with water but will not falsely indicate water contact when in a highly humid environment. The top film layer of this product is printable by thermal transfer, flexographic and screen printing methods. This product’s adhesive achieves excellent bonding to low surface energy plastics and powder coatings and resists the effects of UV light, chemicals and heat.
